Default Some Crashing - Harpertown + PT8

In the middle of a session the audio will "Loop" as though I've made a loop selection in the timeline - then pro-Tools will crash - and spit out this error...

Quote:
Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)
Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x0000000000000014

9 libSystem.B.dylib 0x93c24f52 thread_start + 34

with the FWAudioCallBack it seems related to the crashes I was having in LE in THIS THREAD

Although the thread in LE was 41 and on HD is Thread 39 - the crash looks the same.

I'd eliminated ALL 3rd Party software and plugins, and was getting this Crash a few times a day in LE, on an 002, AND M-Box with NO firewire devices hooked up.

Again, with NO FW devices hooked up - recording off the internal drive, I'm getting this crash about 3 times a day, on

- MacPro 2.8 x 8Core Harpertown 16 GB ram Internal Seagate SATA 1TB additional recording drive
- ProTools HD 8 cs1 / OS X 10.5.5

Can you try something for me and remove the DigiReWire plug-in from your plug-ins folder, trash prefs and test again?

I've moved to the other thread - to keep everyone in the same place - I've removed the rewire plugin.
