Default Question: Firewire HD transfer between XP and OS X

Howdy,

I've got quite a bit of auido files on a Windows Machine that I'd like to transfer to an OS X machine. Rather than burning ENDLESS CDR's or network the two machines (different studios) I was wondering if there was a way for XP and OS X to share a firewire drive?

Does anyone know if it's possible to plug firewire drives into XP and OS X? Has anyone been able to do this? I think you can format a firewire drive w/ FAT32 on OS X... and I'm pretty sure Windows XP supports that... but not sure if PTLE does... anyway...

Anyone have any experiences in this departement?

thanks in advance,

AJ
