will PT 11 ever work with El Capitan?

Here's the official word on El Cap support: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...EUCON-and-ISIS Unofficially (I haven't heard specifics), but I don't think you'll see PT11 being officially qualified with El Cap.

That may be the case, but if true it'd be handy if Avid would officially DIS-qualify PT11.x for use with El Cap.

hey there- i'm actually finding that to be untrue. i just upgraded to pt 11.3.2 and el capitan, and i'm getting that cpu 9173 message, among others, when my cpu is at 9% in pt and 40% on the apollo. does anybody have any troubleshooting help there? i'm really frustrated.

I have an older Macbook Pro (mid 2010) that I used to use as part of a road rig. Up until yesterday it ran Pro Tools 11.3.1 on Yosemite. My curiosity finally got the better of me and I installed El Capitan directly over Yosemite, knowing full well I was tempting fate with both the computer and Pro Tools.

After a day putting it through its paces I can report that the only difference in my Pro Tools routine is the importing of audio into sessions (I now have to drag and drop rather than using the import drop-down). I also had to update some WAVES plugins, which was a much bigger pain than anything else. Other than that everything works fine, including the computer itself, which seems to like El Capitan. Who'da thunk it?
