Default No Heat with HD-Native card. Have asset, and it's installed [SOLVED]
Is it because of my blue 192 interface?

It doesn't appear in the options menu. What else do I have to do?

It also doesn't show up in my Applications Manager, even though it's in my list of registered products. So that's weird. Why wouldn't it show up there? Does the App Manager also care which interface I have beyond the HD-Native card?

you need a HEAT asset on your iLok
what 12.1 does is allow HEAT to be used w/o HDX cards

Yeah I've got the asset. I already had it in TDM land. You can see my setup in the sig.

I installed the latest version downloaded from the site, I'll do the trashing thing. Should it show up under "plug-ins' in my App Manager whether I've installed it properly or not? Since it's registered? Shouldn't it even give me a download link from there?

Having all Avid plugins show up in the app manager is going to take time as many of them are not yet recognized by it.

OK I used the newer "PT Prefs" utility, and I trashed:

Pro Tools Preferences
AAE Preferences
com.avid.ProTools.plist
and
Database/catalogue

those were all the ones that said PT11 or newer.

I restarted, launched the app; it dutifully re-scanned the plugs.

Still no HEAT. It's installed in the AAX plugs folder, and I've got an asset for it on my iLok. What else can I try? thanks

Same deal, not showing up. I've trashed everything & a full clean install. Still no go.

I'm curious if I'm alone in this. Is there anybody online here with 12.1, running HD with an HD-Native card, who has HEAT working?
