Default old setup on XP

Hello everybody, here is my problem:

Did a little song when I was running 5.0.1 on ME. It is not complicated at all, 4 guitar track and 3 vocal, each track have 2 plugins, EQ and D-verb.

It was playing fine in ME, never had any problem ( I have a P3 1gighz and 384 meg of ram ).

I backed it up when I received the new 5.3.1 because I upgraded to XP.

Since then, I did much more complicated song ( 16 tracks with some tracks having 3-4 plugins, verb, EQ, comp ). Never had issue with it.

Now when I bring back the old song ( I had backed up the directory on a CD ), It will play for 45 sec, and then it is telling me that it ran out of CPU. When I watched the system usage, CPU is a little bit yellow, all the rest is totaly green.

What is wrong??? Is it the way I backed it up??

It make no sense to me since I am doing much more intensive stuff since I upgraded to XP and 5.3.1.

Thanx for any advice, info!!!!

Hi Pat-
I think the session files must be 5.1 to be compatable with 5.3.1.
Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Don't forget to set the cpu-usage to 85%...

Did you make sure to uncheck the Read only attribute on all of your files? I think that read only files will open in sessions but probably give problems when you're trying to get playback.
