What kind of motherboard? And BTW, AMD's haven't been playing as well with Pro Tools as a good Intel Quad on an Asus mobo.
Win 7-64 bit is in PUBLIC BETA stage, so run? Maybe. Smoothly? Doubt it.
One hard drive isn't adequate no matter WHAT you do, though. You gotta have 2.

The best way to find out is to take it home and try it out if you can and return it if you're allowed to. AMD hasn't been as friendly with PT in the past couple of years. That being said there are exceptions. I would stick with Intel for now.

Not likely on this one. The GeForce 6150 is onboard graphics and that is a huge strike against it. Now you COULD disable that and add a proper video card, AND add the second hard drive that any Pro Tools system nneds, but you are still hoping and shooting in the dark. How about this

Is there a nice way to say no....

The OS is still beta testing as far as PT compatibility goes. Far more importantly the motherboards chipset absolutely will not work with Pro Tools.
