Intel-based Dual Core Processor Macs canīt run PT LE 7?
Hello
I have a MacBook OSX 10.4.11. My RAM is OK ( 1.5GB ).It has an Intel-Based Dual Core Processor. I am trying to run Pro Tools LE 7 thru a MBOX2. After following step-by-step the Installation Guide as well as every tip from the Troubleshooting Guide, the MBOX2 doesnīt light up. Digidesign Help Database seems confusign to me : here it says intel-based chipped Macs with OSX 10.4 work well with PT LE 7.0 ( http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...23158).However, here it seems the opossite (http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...0&itemid=22445).Itīs more likely that I just donīt understand the differences. Can anybody help me? Since PT LE 7 canīt run with intel chips-based MACS ( only 7.1.1 ), what can I do then? Updating it to a later version? Sergio |
