Questions About Compatibility
I know it's recommended that you not record to the boot drive, but does partitioning solve this problem?
Also, I'm stuck with Windows XP Media Center, and I was wondering if there's a way to get rid of all the media center stuff. Are there programs to uninstall? Processes to turn off? Any way I can make this work? I know simply buying a firewire hard drive or buying Windows XP Pro can resolve these issues, but I don't have a lot of money right now. |

Re: Questions About Compatibility
If this is a desktop computer, you drive problem is easy. Just add another internal drive. I see 300gig drives on sale for $79 at Staples and Best Buy on a regular basis.
