Question the right FW chain

hi, i'm very new on this forum, i would know if my firewire chain is the right one.
from iMac firewire800 i go into an OWC mercury elite_al pro firewire800
from owc firewire400 i go into an mbox3 pro firewire400, i would know if these connection are the best way to connect my devices or someone can describe me a better one

That is the recommended way, but if you have trouble, try reversing the order (Imac>Mbox>hard drive).

This has solved the problem for some people if they had trouble. But I would first try it the other way.

Well, now in the reversed way all works fine.
iMac to mbox3 pro fw800/fw400
Mbox to owc fw400/fw800
Now i can hear from my monitor in the same time PT9, Logic and iTunes. Hope this way Will Work forever......

Yep, I had to run mine the same way. I have the exact same setup and the MBox Pro wants to be first in the chain.
