What are your favorite speakers/monitors that you have used for mixing and sound design in post?

Monitors are personal, you need to try them out to see what you like, and what translates for you.

Just wait, you'll get a dozen different replies.

For smallish monitors, I'm loving the Equator Audio D5's. To my ear, they beat the Genelec 8130's. They have recently released the larger D8's, too.

boy we used those EV ones for years , but no longer made. very flat. i'm using 20 year old Tannoy PBM 6.5 's (with a slight mid eq boost) to CUT on . wouldnt use them to mix.

am trying to find a set of Westlake BBSM 8's/10's at a reasonable price , that'd cover it, for me.
