New interface coming in - reinstall Pro Tools 10 ?
I'm getting a MOTU 896mk3 Hybrid this weekend. The PC still has PT 10 installed on it from the last interface I tried. Think it is a good idea to uninstall PT before hooking up the new unit?
Any other tips would be appreciated as well.

You don't need to do that at all. Just download and install the driver for the new interface. As an option, you may want to see if you can uninstall the driver for the old interface.
