Simple editing question on building a click track
I want to set up a click track using a sidestick sample. I put it in grid mode, then set my sample region to bar 1. I then use the "Repeat" command, and the new regions all line up nose to tail instead of on the grid lines. Am I missing something, or do I have to manually slide them all into place?

Re: Simple editing question on building a click track
I do the same thing. Be sure when you copy the measure, that you copy the free space also - that is - don't copy and paste just the soundbite, copy and paste the entire measurre.
This way when you repeat, your click will be spaced by measures and not back to back. I hope this helps. Good luck! |

Re: Simple editing question on building a click track
If your region is longer than 1 bar, then trim it in grid mode using the trim tool to be exactly 1 bar...then repeat or duplicate as many as you want.

Leon,
That was it. Thanks. Rob, it's usually shorter. |
