SO do I need to down load the update with cs 1-5 first or just go to cs6 straight away? Does this inculde all of the cs's before? No me do understand. Does ths mean that I can actually open PT now and earn some money again?

You would just install the most recent CS release for your version of Pro Tools:
www.digidesign.com/download/cs
Quote:
All Pro Tools CS Updates are cumulative, meaning the most current versions available on this page for any Pro Tools release also include all fixes from all previous CS versions for that Pro Tools release.

Unless I'm behind the curve again, cs9 didn't include cs6 in version 6.4. It seems, at least in that case, the cs updates aren't always "cumulative".

That is the only exception that I can think of, but even that is not technically an exception...

There was no 6.4cs9 Pro Tools application release:
www.digidesign.com/download/cs/64cs9/lewin
Quote:
Fixes Included from Pro Tools LE 6.4cs6: None
Note: Customers should also download and install the Pro Tools LE 6.4cs6 Plug-in Updater. Those fixes are not included in 6.4cs9.
Just the 6.4cs6 Plug-Ins release:
www.digidesign.com/download/cs/64cs6/lewin

Not sure I quite understand the fine distinction there as it is a cs update currently available along with all the other cs releases in the Download section... it's all water under the bridge anyway.
Thanks for the response.
