Definitely a creative tool made by creative people. I know an engineer who uses Sketch Cassette on almost every track, and DO NOT sleep on Shapeshifter!

EDIT: Oh snap, just saw they released a new plugin today! $20 of your hard-earned monies. Going to read the manual now!

EDIT 2: The manual is 1 page long, lol, gonna have some fun with this one!

Certainly appreciate all the work of the Pro Tools Expert team a lot but still their list is lagging behind, kind of.

For example, SSL plugins have become AAX Silicon compatible for a couple of weeks already.

And not only

Native Channel Strip 2, Native Bus Compressor 2, 4KB

but all of their plugins.

I have got a lot of their stuff and it's all "Universal" now and working in PT M1 Native already as supposed to.

Check out the attached pic.

Cheers everybody.

I have a slew of SSL plugins which are not M1 compatible. Given, they are slightly older, but there is no direct replacement for any of them. They will not load, even via Rosetta, so simply using their newer iterations (Channel Strip 2, Bus Compressor 2, etc.) isn't an option because the parameters aren't accessible. They say they are working on updates.

More directly to your point, yes, most of the current lineup is AAX Native. I'm not sure what the Pro Tools Expert database says about SSL but, technically, not all of their plugins are Native. I believe I even have one from the current list which won't load in ProTools Silicon.

Wow, I was just at their site yesterday and didn't see Tectonic.

I tried Digitalis and ultimately couldn't connect with it. The latency was monstrous and I was hoping to track with it. To create guitar tones live. The delay drove me nuts.

Cassette is a different animal, one I also like the idea of. I give that a shot next.

Could someone please list which individual PA plugins are ARM already?

Only way I know: Use PA Plugin Manager, hover pointer over a plugin in the list, see if there is "excl. AAX" in the info panel. If not, it is AAX native.
(BTW, I just click 'cancel' when PA Man wants to install "Helper".)

Thanks for doing that!

Oof, the list of non-Native PA plugins is long.
