Default Venom Keyboard = Xpand2 ?

Is the Venom Keyboard really just the stand-alone hardward version of Xpand2?

Yes I believe Venom can be categorized like that but carries a better punch.

@filosofem....hmmm interesting...Okay, can the Venom be used to control (and or adjust) paramaters not accessible in Xpand2 software?

There are lots of cool patches in Xpand2 in which there seesm to be no way to tweek the ADSR Filter Envelope (or many other necessary paramaters)....Maybe possible the Venom could allow full access to all the parameters in Xpand2 ??

Venom decoupled from Venom's sound engine is the same as other MIDI Controllers. That is, if a MIDI Controller can access those parameters then Venom will also. Can any of those Filter ENV parameters support MIDI Learn? Assignable?

Because there is very limited parameters in Xpand2 software that can be tweeked {usually just the Amp EQ: Attack, Decay, Release, and the Filter Cutoff and Res}, I was hoping that somehow you could use the Venom keyboard to tap into Xpand2 so to unleash many more hidden paramaters (if any) that can be tweeked...like: the ADSR Filter Envelope, Portamento, more Oscillator controls, etc....

Ummm... no and why would you even think that, teacherman? Xpand! and Venom are separate devices. Xpand! has limited sound engine control but if you like that level of control perhaps Venom is worth a look.
