OMF AAF From Digital Perf to Pro Tools Plug ins?

I am trying to ascertain whether OMF or AAF EVER were able to transfer plugin information from DP to Pro Tools? In particular, Waves plug in info.

I see all the import options in Pro Tools, which list plugins and plugin settings, but I have not been able to get plugins to transfer from DP to PT.

Good question! I have so rarely seen plugins appear in AAFs that I just assumed that never actually happens... until it did. The only times I have seen it are when an AAF comes from Avid Media Composer into Pro Tools. My assumption is that it works in that context between Media Composer and Pro Tools both share some of the same stock AAX plugins.

I doubt Digital Performer to Pro Tools would ever work with plugins via AAF. Waves plugins look the same, but those two DAWs use very different plugin formats.

The only plugins supported are from Avid MC.
