Can't set playback engine output device.
I'm using Realtek as my playback engine but the output device keeps defaulting to Realtek digital output whereas I want the Realtek speaker output instead.

On Windows machines you would need to download and installl ASIO4ALL drivers to use the onboard soundcard.
Its free and many people use it and can be downloaded here. www.asio4all.com

Yes, I'm familiar with ASIO and that it's required for onboard sound playback but forgot about it in this instance, I've just realised that I actually have program installed called O Deus ASIO Link Pro Tool which could be causing the issue. I found out about this program when I was trying to work what was required to retain playback from other Windows sources at the same time Pro Tools was open, like WMP or Youtube for example but I've never been able to set the program up to do that. It could be a setting within O Deus that is preventing playback. If I can't figure it out I'll just install the standard ASIO drivers.
