Default Dual Monitor setup

I hooked up a second 27" monitor so I can view the Edit and Mix screens simultaneously. Maybe my ergonomics are wrong, but I'm finding it hard to adjust to. Perhaps my monitors aren't angled correctly. Anyone feel like dual monitors can be little uncomfortable on the neck?

I have found that to really use dual monitors the two monitors have to be the same size and type, I have identical Dell 24 inch monitors and it works out great, I have them both sitting right next to each other and the same angle and height, I'M about to buy identical Dell 27 inch monitors.

I've got two Apple 27" LED monitors. I'm so used to looking straight ahead that now it's weird looking slightly left or right at all times.

Not surprising really, the larger the monitors the further away the viewer should be and 27" aren't exactly small.

Ideally it should only be your eyes that are moving not your neck, so it sounds like your monitors are too big for the distance you are from them.

I use 3 monitors. The resolution should be set to what your monitor is best recommended so there's no stretching. When you open pro tools don't maximize the screen and then you can stretch your pro tools main window across all 3 monitors then you can position your windows however you'd like
