Default New IPAD software and LOGIC

HI..Does anybody know how the new iPad/Software works with Logic...
What does it control within logic...
Ive seen it working with Pro tools and looks great...

Also can it be used stand alone with a IPAD...or is dependant on the new S1??
I'd live to use it with my Artist Mix...
Thanks
ROB
