Studio Drummer Question

You know in studio drummer you can select a 'groove' rather than input a drum pattern onto a grid (which is what I normally do)?

Well I just wondered, how does that work - can you capture the 'groove' somehow into a midi format, because e.g. how would you use the studio drummer 'fill' option - because you need that to happen at a certain point.

You must somehow be able to convert the pattern - or do you have to record it as a wav perhaps?

I would look for tutorial videos on that plugin. While I have not used it, there are dozens of videos for Superior Drummer, EZDrummer and Addictive Drums, so I would expect Studio Drummer would have lots of help available

Drag out the MIDI into your DAW. You'll see a little "drag" icon in the groove section.

Drag out what you like and built your track.
