Default Can't Punch In with MC Control Pro Tools 9

Anybody else having this issue. I set it to quick punch but the MC Controls record button doesn't respond when Play is pressed. It worked fine in Pro Tools 8. Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong?

Can anyone tell me if punching in does work for them. If it does I'll try and troubleshoot, I just need confirmation that it actually works for anyone before I start going crazy trying to fix it.

I'd love if tech support could chime in on this one. This is kind of a huge problem.

We've verified that QuickPunch is, indeed, broken.

For the time reverting back to standard HUI protocol should get around the issue until we can roll out a fix.

Is this just punching in/out on the control surface or will it not work with the keyboard either?

EDIT: I'm glad the functionality still works with the keyboard, at least. Not a deal breaker, although it would be nice to have back.

Oh yea me too. Thought it was my rig only. No way im going back to hui mode though. These controllers are like new compared to hui. Miss the hui commands in the soft keys setup though. Any of that with Eucon update? Like auto latch all faders etc??

On Mac OS X, EUCON-capable controllers using EUCON 2.5.6 did not record when in QuickPunch mode in Pro Tools 9.0. (PTSW-134916)

In Pro Tools 9.0.1 for Mac OS X, QuickPunch works with EUCON-capable controllers.

I guess someone got heard really quickly this time around!
