I love Chris and Chimp and everyone on the ER team!

I have been a loyal ER head since I bought it two weeks after it's release. And i LOVE the expansion pack! Every night before I go to sleep i pray for an Avid ER foot controller. Matching orange metal housing with 2 exp pedals with a toe sensitivity swith on the wah and enough switches on it to bank and bypass your effects chain.

Please tell me my prayers will be answered (or at least hint or tease).

I would pay good money for such a wonder,who's with me?

I picked up a used fcb1010 last week cheapo. The 11PROM should arrive next week. As the FCB1010 was used I could spray it orange.
Now let me see, Orange footcontroller, 10 switches, 2 pedals. All-up for 50 cups of flat white...

There are only 2 ways Avid could attach a foot controller to the 11R, USB or MIDI. There is not much more functionality they could put in that a FCB1010 hasn't got. USB would mean a mark II of the 11R ... but then again by then the 11R would have wireless connections

First of all, yes Chris and The Chimp are awesome as is the whole team and so is the 11R! I had a guy going the other day that these guys had actually miniaturized the amps and put them right in the box... tubes and all!
To get the most out of ANY foot controller guys, we need to get the 11R setup so we can have two way MIDI communication. This would allow us to do all sorts of cool things! Our friend TheChimp has said that they would love to add this feature, but it must get moved up the ladder on the feature requests/idea scale site. Please make your voice heard via the link below.

Believe me, I would looooooove to do this. I have all sorts of ideas for a controller custom-built for the Rack (but of course it also needs to be good with other people's gear)...I wouldn't hold my breath, but we are actively working with some other mfr's to get things like the FCB1010, Ground Control Pro etc. work as well as possible.

Seriously, While Behringer is not exactly my favorite company if they could add a tuner display and a custom 11EPROM (and yes powdercoat the dang thing orange) and keep under 200.00 street I would happily buy one. I was holding out for a Ground Control, Mission Control combo but Benoni's recent 11 EPROM videos have convinced me I would probably be happy with the Behringer FCB1010. Partner with Behringer and call it the FCB1011. The best is always nice but "Good Enough" and saving 300.00 is cool too.

Glad you liked the videos, and just so you know, Eureka Sound is continuing improvements for the 11 Prom, so if a feature is not in the current Prom, does not mean it wont be updated down the line. And as far as I know they still have like $10 discount when you trade up an old eprom to a new version, so there is no reason not to go ahead and buy one now.

And if you get a FCB1010 and the 11Prom, and dont like it, you would have no problem selling a FCB1010 with 11Prom installed on eBay.
