Control surfaces loosing connection after PT 2024.3 update.

I hv S3 and a doc, and after this update EUCONTROL keeps loosing connections. S3 drops, Dadman looses connections, and sometimes pops back, PT looses connection... Its all a bit flaky now.
Cant seem to lock to PT ( like it was )
Like if I flip between PT and DADman S3 follows, Wasnt like that. It was locked to PT only - And yes I have locked DADman to monitor and Pro Tools 24 to transport in EuControl APPL ...

Am I missing something here ?

You probably need to add PT 2024.3 to the application white list in Eucon

You have DADman in there too...thats why. I presume you don't want to switch to DADMan tracks? Just want the Monitoring (checkbox)

THANK YOU!!! Solved it for me. I wondered why my Application list showed Pro Tools 23Mac. I thought they forgot to update the name internally or something. My bad.

I'm still on PT Ultimate 2023.9 on a Mac mini i7 (OS 14.3). The Eucon checkbox keeps getting unchecked in PT Peripherals Settings. After I heck the box again I get connection between PT and the S1 units.

In some cases it's still checked but there's no connection to the S1 units. In those situations I've unchecked and closed the settings, reopened, checked the box again to enable Eucon and then it re-established connection. Anybody experienced the same thing? I'm not sure why this keeps getting fouled up but I need it to be solid so it doesn't throw students off when the start up the system.

This is not expected. Do you have multiple users? Are they admin accounts?

They login to the Mac with the same user account that has admin rights. BTW when I open Eucon app settings it shows all the devices in that right hand window so they are seemingly active. It's just PT isn't seeing them for some reason. Luckily the Dock is connected with DADman so the control room monitor knob works.

And you definitely have the correct PT version added to the Applications list in EuControl?
