Default Avid for sale?
Ran into this via a link from Gearspace that Avid is up for sale and one of the entities (Francisco Partners) is the group that own Plugin Alliance and Native Instruments and I think iZotope as well: https://www.mixonline.com/business/r...n-within-weeks

It would be if Francisco Partners was not one of the possible buyers. They've ridden Plugin Alliance into the ground. They do NOT have a good reputation.

Izotope has also been a casualty of their takeover. It seems they’ve all but stalled development with that product.

Yeah - they really stepped in it with the V9 to V10 'updates'.

Plugin Alliance and Izotope are perfect examples of how NOT to operate. Heavily invested and deeply disappointed in both those companies. Great products...such a shame.
