Lost iLok (PLEASE HELP)

Hello,

I've lost my iLok but bought a new one.
I have paid AVID the iLok Replacement Fee, I have a RMA number for losing the iLok.
What I can't seem to is fill in the Registration Case Creation form

I keep getting a message saying I'm not logged in.

Please help, I have an urgent mixing job I need to finish.

So you never have to go through this again, buy a spare iLok and pay US$30 a year for iLok ZDT, which gets you up & running quickly if your iLok is lost, stolen or broken:

Once you’ve bought ZDT, in iLok License Manager,
double-click on your iLok in the LH column
The box on the RHS down below is called:
ZERO DOWNTIME
To the right of:
Theft & Loss Coverage (TLC), slide the button to the R – it’ll turn blue.

To the R again is the ‘Refresh’ button – ZDT must be refreshed every 90 days.

Let me know if you still have an issue and i can escalate to Avid support.

Meanwhile maybe try the Trial 30 day version if this drags out until monday morning.

It is a 30 day full version of HD / Ultimate so you can keep working.

UPDATE: someone found my iLok and I can collect it tomorrow.
In the meantime I've sent an e-mail asking iLok to NOT block my dongle (that's what she said), because I can see on my iLok account that it is still active.

Hopefully you get the licenses reinstated.

Normally however, you need to consider:

• having insurance policy covering worth of your license (expensive)
• pay for ilok for theft and loss coverage (need to set up in advance)
• filing a police report for stolen license key (up to consideration of individual license vendor to provide replacement)

What a relief! Be sure to give a nice foinder's gift and then get back to my previous post. The TLC plan is a lifesaver for situations like this. Very cheap peace of mind.
