Default You can not move a set of markers...

Note: I am trying to work with markers.

And I say, in version 12, Avid arrived with unnecessary functions for 90% of its clients (say 89%, let's be indulgent), but you can not move a set of markers, or simply two markers simultaneously, in 2015, with the twelfth release of this DAW. Unless of course with copy and paste, as with a knife and paper-sticking on the tape before the 90s. Copy, paste, copy, paste ...

It seems to me that there is such an imbalance, lack of attention, a blind conservatism, right?

If it's not already there, make a suggestion in Ideascale.

How many of those suggestions on ideascale made it to 12?
Oh, right. Cloud collaboration, that must have been in the top 3.
Oh, right. It's not there yet though.

Post stuff on Ideascale? Praying to your god yields better results in this regard, I think.

Track freeze will make it to 12 and it was the most requested one after 64 bit. Clip gain made it in pt 10 and it was also a request on ideascale. Offline bounce, Bypass all plugins for a track, include a bounce folder into the session folder, bounce to wave and mp3 at the same time, stand alone eleven rack editor, multiple audiosuite windows, no cost mp3 option instead of a paid extra. And the list goes on:

Sure they might not have paid that much attention to it in the past, but they did mention that they will focus more on it now. So if you don't post on it, then they have nothing to focus on, and you give them the excuse of saying.. well we didn't bring in any new thing because our clients didn't use the tools we had set for them to make the request. Is that what you want?

I think she's been there for several years (and versions). I deplore that fact precisely. There are many reasonable suggestions on IdeaScale but unanswered.

Even if we stop making suggestions all together right now, there's tons off stuff on that bucket list for Avid to leaf through and implement.

It's like tossing little pieces of chocolate in a lake. Futile.

I vote in elections, even though my vote is one miniscule part of a larger whole. I don't think that makes voting futile.

I can't think of a reason to NOT spend 2 minutes on ideascale to post/vote for a feature you want. The worst case scenario is you gain nothing.

Not all ideas might be viable either on an engineering stand point. Some will eventually go in, some might not. But if you don't ask for it, you're sure it will never see the light of day. There is way too many posts every day on the APAC for Avid to sift through to get the new ideas which are drowned into the sea of questions and other posts. Ideascale makes it easier for them to see it, just logical.

Well you get no right to complain then. Since you haven't taken up your right to get your voice kinda heard.
