That is a feature that I didn't even realize that I needed. Can you imagine all of your Foley/ADR/VO sessions save with the low buffer and then mixing saves with another not having to constantly switch going back and forth. And for those who don't need or like it, having an option in preferences to turn that feature on or off.

I am sure this will come out on Protools Ultimate 2036.6

Also would be great to have a VI or "Instruments and FX" tab to quickly drag and drop into the main window. Adding instruments in PT quickly is not so great. They have the right idea in the Workspace window, but that's another window to deal with, when you could just drag from the tab on the right quickly.

I’ve got this in another DAW I use, but honestly have never used it…for the way I work, it’s easier just to insert effects/VI/whatever. I dunno, maybe those younger than I would.

One addition I’d like to be considered is application wide channel strips with compression, EQ, and auxes set as knobs, visible at all times…instead of having 24-30 instances of comp, EQ, etc. basically a virtual console visible as a console.

Yea, i forgot how great that clip drag to sampler thing was, really miss it......is there anyway Avid, you can bring that back? it was one of the finest/quickest features for sound design eva!

Yeah Studio 1 does it...

Well each to his own, but that way you are first creating an instrument track, then choosing the VI from an ever growing list, then loading the sound into the VI. I try to anticipate most things so have a template though, so that helps.

Yes sir. I use a couple of drum programs, 2 B3s, MIDI Grand, and a couple of voices from AIR. Just not a big call for multiple synths and stuff for what I do/what clients do.

Is this listed here before?

Would be very helpful when there's a clear view of when you're in Preview mode, and when not.
My suggestion would be: lighting up the whole upper bar green when in Preview Mode...

Reason is when mixing / automating long scenes, it happens to much to me I see at the end of the scene I'm still in preview mode, so no automation, but do it again..
