MBox2 Mini - Upgrade Hardware to MBox2 Pro

Hi.
I am currently running my MBox2 Mini with ProTools v7.4 and everything is stable and working well. I have just purchased an MBox2 Pro and I want to substitute this for the Mini without changing any software.

The manual explains the process for installing the hardware AND the ProTools software but I only want to implement the hardware change. Any tips/tricks for implementing this hardware change without affecting my system stability? Thanks for any help you can give.

I don't think that you can change hardware???? I think you would have to download and plug in new hardware at the specific time of the download, (in other words,,,, you gotta start over with new hardware,,, I'm pretty sure anyway??) You can use all the files you have on your audio drive of coarse, just can't swap hardware....... !!????

I have got a 002R and a Mbox mini.
When I got the Mbox Mini, I plugged it in and then "Found New Hardware" should guide you through the driver install.
I definitely didn't do a fresh install of PT.

Just plug it in and your done. Should automatically load any drivers needed.
