core audio driver for 001 in OSX?
Is there such a thing? In OS9, I'm able to set the 001 as my sound source in the sound control panel,
But while my 001 works with PT6 on OSX, the AMS only identifies the 001 as a midi device, and it also doesn't show up in the system prefs->sound panel. As a result, I can't hear any system sounds through my monitors unless PT6 is running. If I want to hear an mp3 in quicktime or itunes I gotta plug phones into my CPU! Am I doing something wrong or is it because 001 core audio drivers aren't available? |

Re: core audio driver for 001 in OSX?
I, as well as others, have asked about this and Digi has replied that they just aren't done with that yet but it will be done in the near future. I too really miss that feature. You can however run the line output from your computer into a couple of ins on your 001 so that you can use your monitors. That is a luxury on an 001, I have an Mbox and I have to unplug my mics everytime I want to use iTunes since I only have two inputs.
