Screen Refresh is lagging extremely slow (PT HD 12.4)

Hi,

In PT12.4 I'm noticing the screen refresh rate is lagging extremely slow, less than 1 frame per second. Makes it difficult if looking at something like the Nugen Loudness meter. It doesn't matter if I have multiple plug-ins open or none, the screen lag is unworkable. Even the timeline is updating less than once per second.

Are there any known work arounds?

System details:
PT HD Native 12.4 on OS X 10.11.1.
OMNI I/O
Trashcan Mac: 8 Core with 32gb Ram & SSD Thunderbolt 2 drives.
Total CPU meter hitting no higher than 11% during the session.

A quick search of the different El Capitan and slow GUI related threads will reveal that this is a common issue with 10.11

I searched slow display, slow refresh, lagged display, but not GUI.

i see a lag in PT12.4 on Mavericks .. if i drag a Clip the Image of the Clip Warps and stretches then comes back once you stop moving .. it is hard on the eyes ..

i thought it was just my system .. did not happen in PT12.3 though ..

has this been Elevated to Jeffro yet ???

Have you turned Clip Transparency off? That solved some issues for some people.
