Control 24 jumpy faders
Hoping someone here can help me.
I am having a few issues with the faders on my Control 24 in that they tend to jump around (usually in banks of 8) in different sessions. The other issue is when automating a performance and I have my finger on some of the faders at times they will automatically dip the level drawn in the edit window in random bursts. Anyone come accoss this and may be able to offer any help |

Re: Control 24 jumpy faders
The faders connect to three PCBs inside the Control 24. If you are experiencing issues in groups of 8, it is most likely an issue with the ribbon cabling that connects those PCBs together. Try flipping the unit over, removing the bottom plate, and disconnecting, cleaning and reconnecting the ribbon cables along the three fader PCBs. They are hot glued in, so it might be an idea to hot glue them back in when you've tested that everything is back to normal.
