NI hasn't done any updates to their stuff in quite a while. They have AAX 32 bit but nothing in 64 bit.

Sorry then, I'll try to get a hold of them again to see what's happening.

Here's what I received from NI this morning.

"NI products are currently not compatible with Pro Tools 11 and its new AAX 2 plug-in interface. Native Instruments is working with Avid to enable support for this platform as soon as possible. "

So, whenever......

Angus posted over in our thread about this. Here's the link: http://www.fxpansion.com/forum/viewt...?p=86977#86977
essentially we are left hanging for who knows how long. We'll sooner get 7 figure recording contracts before we see anything from fxpansion (or NI for that matter).

That really doesn't sound very good at all guys... We use FXpansion drums all the time seeing none of us are good drummers...

BUT.. I know a guy personally since 2005 who is working with development and I am gonna speak to him in the morning and see what is what and post back tomorrow

They gotta get their Sh|t together now.. We neeeeed and waaaaant our 64bit now!

Best wishes
Chris

I just emailed Angus as well to see if there is anything I can do from the Avid side to help them out.

There are definitely a few behavioral changes with plug-ins in PT11 due to the new engine, so it's possible they and a few others have hit bugs because of it.

We're continuing our best to help these companies over the hump.

Dave:
Thanks for your help in this. Now if we could get NI to kick loose with AAX 64 bit that would be heaven.

I wish I was I really do. Hamstrung here with this, not to mention no NI either. BFD2 is THE major reason for me even looking at PT11 because it's such a memory hog. I know one can streamline what's loaded at any one time but with some of the complex drum lines I've got even 7200 RPM drives on Thunderbolt are having problems keeping up if I use load on demand.
