In Pro Tools got to Setup>IO and then, as mentioned, on each of the Input, Output and Bus tabs click the "Default" button.

You need to find a Pro Tools getting started book, or some tutorials (like lots of useful video Tutorials on YouTube), or take an online course. You are struggling with basic beginner stuff, and will keep doing so even once Pro Tools is working, unless you do some study.

yea, works fantastic now. I just got this computer and it works SO MUCH BETTER than my other computer.

Yes - and to me the most important is to turn off any power savings measures because Windows by default has them turned on. And always make sure that 11R is connected and powered on before starting the computer.
