Default Networking ProTools

If I'm planning on adding a second PT workstation in the studio I'm at, what are the best (Digi approved if possible?) ways to share storage? What's up with SANs? Fibrechannel? How's it work?

Anyone doing this? The main goal would be to have a centralized storage area from which SFX could be grabbed by multiple workstations at the same time.

Any input would be much appreciated.
