Default Focusrite Forte?

Hey Guys,
What would you say for Focusrite Forte TDM Plug-in? Is it comparable with some other plug, or it stands good enough by its self?

It´s great! The ISA-110 plug sounds 98% like my ISA-215 hardware... Try it!

I think it sounds allright, but it deserves a nomination to the bad GUI hall-of-fame

In the quest to make it look like its analog counterpart, they've given it all the things you need to get pissed off and not use it much...

Features like "lean forward and squint to identify virtual knob's function". plus the ever popular "white and light yellow micro-text legending against light-gray-background" ... and other bad-GUI classics. (especially on the dynamics)

If you have a control surface to map it out on, enjoy... otherwise.. try before you buy... maybe it's just me.

Yes it sounds great, - actually enjoy using them,, - but then again im a sucker for Focusrite ISA (Neve in general..)
Smooth and very usable sound like the original.
- but yes, the GUI is nt the best, think its more the size and not the colors thats the problem, - we use the comand 8 and it dosent help much to control the plug btw..

No, it's not just you, Dave.

Many developers seem to be oblivious to the concept of ergonomics and user-experience. Sadly, examples abound. Such as virtual knobs that require to be dragged in a circular motion with one's mouse - what kind of delicate genius came up with that?

These issues are paramount, and yet they receive little attention. So, here's a "well said" for doing just that, Dave.
