Default Digi 001 with Logic Audio 5.5

Can somebody help me ??
I have a dual 867 mhz Mac G4. I have installed Logic 5.5 and I use a digi 001 as my hardware. For some reason I cannot find my digi 001in my audio drivers window. Can somebody give me the exact driver (Direct I/O) name plus the exact name of the Digi Init that needs to be installed in the extensions folder.
There are also two error messages which keep disturbin me..
-6006 while launching logic ( I already use the QT version 5.0.1)

Thanks in advance..

regards

cyrus

You may want to go back a few steps first with Logic if possible. I always keep a few versions of Logic available for use, because Logic upgrades are always buggier than **** . Example, I have shortcuts to both 5.3 and 5.5 up, sessions are always freely exchangeable between the two (obviously with 5.5 you get the exs24 mII and the bootup routine is different now..). My point then, go back and find a version that works properly and keep it available, every time you upgrade Logic, a new shortcut is created, but the old one remains and you can (as long as you are in the same version i.e. 5.x) run any one at a given time. With My 001 5.0 was flawless, 5.2 was not, 5.3 is fine again. 5.5 is functioning ok as well, but there is the midi file bug, and something else, I just can't recall at the moment. My init and all other files are the original 5.1.1 from my install cd. The Direct I/O driver is what you want to use. I prefer universal trackmode, buffer at 256, medium to large buffer range, 24 bit, software monitoring on.

Oh, yeah. Most problems with 001/Logic are caused by the OMS Digi001 midi driver. Use an emagic midi interface (mt4 etc..) and ditch the 001 driver (system folder>opcode>001 midi driver) then tell logic not to use oms. The problem here is that you can't use the 001 for midi in PT, but I don't use midi in PT anyway..
