Default Shortcut to focus plugin in D-Command?

Hi,

When i mix, i always use the following shortcut to open a plugin window to see what's going quickly on a channel: CTRL + select on a rotary encoder in insert mode.
This brings the window of the plugin in Pro Tools. Quick for navigating thru plugins.

But is there a shortcut to open this plugin in focus mode (Plugin focus) on the console?

The quickest way i know to do this is to select the track, press plugin in the custom fader switches and the cycle until i get to the plugin i want to tweak.

Is there a "one click" shortcut to do this?

Thanks!

Luc

Unless I am not understanding you correctly..... you simply press select on that insert and that plug is instantly focused.

Hi Drew,

What i mean is to focus the plugin on the custom faders.
When i press select, it focus the plugin on the rotary encoders from that channel.
EQ's and compressor are focused on the master section if i select that channel but i dont know any way to select a plugin on a channel (lets say decapitator on channel 15) and automatically open this plugin on the custom fader bank.

Thanks!

You need to turn off Channel Plugin Mode in the Operations menu of the D Command.

Wow, all this time and it was that simple?
How come i never tried this...

Ok, one more:

If i am on the custom fader (VCA) page and i spill my drum master VCA, then i select a plugin on the kick track, when i exit the plugin page, it will return to the custom fader (VCA) page. Is there a way to return to the previous state (the spilled drums)?

Thanks again!
