Can't open or create a session on new hard drive

Hi Guys,

I just bought a new 250GB HD with a SATA controller, yhe drive has 8MB of cache.
All works fine until I try to open or create a session on that new HD.
If I open or create a session on the old one (Primary) I don't have any problems.

Any idea what might cause that?

Digi001 with PT LE 6.4 cs9.
Pentiwm 4 2.8GHz 2.5G RAM

You will need to set the HD as a record drive in PT - but I forget where to do this - it's something like window/show workspace - and make sure the drive has an 'R' next to it. Then you're in business. I think the default is 'T' for transfer (or something)

I've checked and it is set to R R.
When I open an existing session, I see the tracks, then all seems to get grey out and Pro Tools disapear with no error either in the activity logs (XP) or a file.
