Hey Ed,

I just ran the RTAS update (Mac) and the installer does update the 3 Band plug-in but it completely removes the 5 Band plug-in from the plug-in folder!
What's going on bro?


PowerMac G5 DualCore 2.3 (PPC) with 8GB of RAM, Tiger 10.4.11,
Digidesign Digi 002 (Console), Pro Tools LE 7.3.1cs8, Digidesign Music Production Toolkit.

While trying to locate the mysterious disappearing MDW 5 band plug-in, I just checked the Digidesign Plug-Ins (Unused) folder and I'm seeing the older versions of MDW (MDWEQ3_3B_RTAS.dpm & MDWEQ3_5B_RTAS.dpm). Why would someone make an installer that moves these to the Unused folder??? But no updated 5 Band version... Just the updated 3 Band plug-in...

The installer has done the same thing here ... the 5 band is missing from my plugin list.

That's weird, it worked fine here. I'm on PT 7.4 and OS 10.4 still, though.

Folks. I'm so sorry about this. I will pull these down. The new 3.0.1 r1 versions of the plug-ins work fine - this is an installer defect. If anyone needs these in the interim, please give me a call or note and I will send them to you at once.
