Hi,

I'm with gugu on this one !
As a post guy, NoNoise cannot be put aside during edit sessions.

So Digi, can we have a little statement please ? ETA on compatibility schedule ?

Cheers,

A

All,

Sorry that these questions about compatibility have lingered on a thread without a response for this long. All three of these plug-ins, Amp Farm, Sonic NoNOISE and SoundReplacer have been exercised on Leopard and were found to be compatible. In all cases, I'd like to know what you're observing. If the plug-in is simply not showing up, please let me know if you've tried to open Pro Tools and load the plug-ins a second time and have seen the problem go away. In the case of Sonic NoNOISE, please let me know if you've been able to launch the plug-in and if different effects (e.g., TDM-based broadband noise removal vs. host-based filters) behave differently.

As you can see from the Leopard announcement, this is a staged release, with the first release of Pro Tools 7.4.1 for Leopard focusing on popular new Mac Pro CPUs. Like the release, the testing of Digidesign and third party plug-ins is also staged, so it's reasonable to assume that we will encounter new compatibility issues on Leopard in the near future. Your input can help us focus on trouble spots.

Please contact me with the observations I've mentioned or any questions you have, and I promise to post any new information about these plug-ins as soon as I learn it.

Ed

We went to the Digi Plugins page and re-downloaded the newest version of AmpFarm, SoundReplacer, NoNoise and Reverb One (that one was also missing). VocAlign, as mentioned previously, was a matter of contacting Synchro Arts and they provided the correct update link. iLoks were already updated, so everything loaded correctly and is working. Including NoNoise. However, NoNoise's Production Declick seems glitchy...it hasn't worked right since Panther. So now I do a 1-pass in Waves' DeClick, and use NoNoise Manual Declick and Decrackle for detailed work.

generator,
can you load SDII files in SoundReplacer ?
I´m currently playing around with Leopard on a MacPro Quad partition
and SoundReplacer produces just loud noise with SDII samples
thanks!

One thing that I wanted to mention - with the number of posts on the DUC, it's nearly impossible to see all of them, so if you absolutely, positively need an answer from us, it's always best to use the Tech Support Request Form. Usually you'll get a reply within 24 hours.
