Default HD Native vs Windows 10

Someone is already using Windows 10?
It is recommended to upgrade or there is some bug?

Thanks

It is not approved yet for Pro Tools and would not expect it for a few months at least.

Yes, I know that, and that's why I asked if someone is using and have found a problem.

Yesterday I installed w10 on a laptop that I have here, for now everything seems to be functioning normally, only the last version of Quicktime (7.7.7) had problems on setup, I solved this with 7.7.6 version.

I have a friend that has been successful with Win10, PT12 and a Midas M32. I will leave you with my usual advice; give it a try, but have a backup plan in case it doesn't work. Mine plan would be this; buy another hard drive, clone the current system drive to the new drive, remove the old drive and install the clone, UNinstall PT, upgrade to Win10, install PT and test(with fingers crossed)

I never understand the desire to jump to a new and untested OS.

PT 12 HD here, Windows 10. No issues. I don't use the AVE though, and YMMV.

It isn't a supported setup, so unless you're ok taking on the risk, you'd be better to hold off. That said, I've had no hiccups.

I run an HDX rig on Windows 10, and it's all good here. But, I also have drives with Windows 7 and 8.1 ready to go. As Dave said earlier... Have a backup plan.
