MASSIVE CLIPPING/HISSING SOUND from record enabled instrument line in track
Hello everyone out there. Maybe wondering if someone could give some advice. I think my Mbox 2 is starting to have problems. whenever i try to record enable a track within a pro tools session, i am encountering an annoying clipping/hissings sound from the track. This just started to happen recently, and I have been recording for a few years now with no problems. I was considering having it sent in to possibly be refurbished. Maybe there are components inside the mbox 2 that are starting to wear out. Maybe I possibly screwed around with an internal setting on my computer or within the preferences within the mbox 2 software itself, but I am pretty sure i didn't do this. the only thing that I knowingly mess around with sometimes is the bit depth of a given session mostly use 48khz setting instead of the 44.1 khz setting at 24 bit. I could be saved a lot of heartache if it was a simple adjustment somewhere instead of sending it back to the company and finding out nothing was wrong with it in the first Place. I WILL BE EXTREMELY GREAT FULL TO ANYBODY WHO CAN HELP ME WITH THIS. THANKS - PEACE -

Re: MASSIVE CLIPPING/HISSING SOUND from record enabled instrument line in track
This happens regardless of which input source is selected on the track?
