Hi,

Hopefully they've fixed the crashing problem in pro tools!

Shame is it was good when it was working but i never really tested it because of the bugs and now the demo has run out.

The same as the slate vcc, by the time the bugs were fixed the demo period had expired!!

I wish these companies would get some good beta testers on board!!

Just got the new PSP Mastercomp 1.7 and it has massive bug in pro tools where it will instantiate only once then the GUI doesn't open at all Again where were the beta testers???

Chris

Isn't that where we all come in?!! I've begun to think that's one of my official titles. Didn't even get to try Drumagog5 cos it wouldn't work at all with PPC and am a lot less inclined to even bother now after wasting a whole load of time fannying about with software that clearly wasn't quite ready.

I gave up on 5 after a few tries. Some neat ideas. But it just didn't work. At least with the Slate, they called it a beta, and were very quick to respond to crash probs with near daily builds. D5 (I think) was touted as ready to go. My demo expired before I could use it on a session. One day, down the line, I'll grab it to use my large gog library. But for now, at least Trigger works.

Hey guys,

The 5.01 update should fix any crashing issues you might have experienced, as well as some important updates to the align algorithm:

- Improved CPU usage. This should eliminate the need for higher buffer sizes in your audio card.
- Fixed issue with clicks and pops due to higher CPU usage.
- Reduced memory usage.
- Fixed issues with Auto Align 2.0 which could cause mis-alignment of samples in certain cases.
- Fixed issue that caused crash when switching between samples rapidly.
- Fixed problem opening Drumagog on Power PC systems.
- Fixed issue with re-loading of gog files

I'll be checking this forum if anyone has any questions I can help with.

Thanks,

Yes, Drumagog 5.01 (the current version) works great with PPC Macs.

Thanks,
Rim
