seperate main and aux mixes with talkback?
Hi-I've got a question. I want to be able to create a seperate mix for the control room and for the musician's headphones-like on a normal analog console.
It seems easy- I have my main (control room) mix on ProTool's outputs 1&2, which feed procontrol inputs 1&2 and then out to my speakers. My headphone cue mix is going out ProTool's outputs 3&4 for example. Now it seems to me that I should be able to route this mix into procontrol's inputs 5&6 so that i can use the talkback mic- but I can't seem to get this to happen. It seems the monitor mix can only handle on set of inputs at a time.... surely i am missing something? thanks for the help, collin |

Re: seperate main and aux mixes with talkback?
To run a discrete cans mix, route the outputs of your 888 i/o into the ProControl AUX inputs, then route the ProControl AUX outputs to your headphone amp.
It's very easy. |
