Structure graphics issue anyone?

Hi, Im running an iMac 27" on OS 10.8 MountainLion, and am trying to use various versions of PT10, and Structure. my problem, which i never had with 10.6.8 and PT10.2 is the Structure sampler when opening, comes up yellow and purple etc etc, bizzarre graphic weirdness, although its working. You just cannot read it, its a mess, graphically. It did the same thing with Lion, when i started with a fresh install as well. For the life of me it makes no sense. i guess i'll have to go back to snow leopard, if this cant work. PT10 works fine its just a horrible graphics error on Structure plug in. anyone ever seen this, and is there even a 'fix', obviously AVID doesnt even support the thing anymore, and AIR doesnt care. thanks for your opinions. BTW, i cannot use Kontact as we operate on episodic tv and its a group effort with everyone on the same systems. this is a computer i bought used , so could the graphics card be f'd? wondering

could it be an ilok registration issue? i apparently have registered the copy of structure ive been using. hmmmmm

Are you using Structure 1.0, Structure 1.1 or Structure LE?

I remember this happening. You need the latest version of Structure.

thank goodness someone else had this....do you know which version it is that works, cause i'm using 1.0 and i tried 1.0.5 ? too no luck...

You might need Pro Tools 10.3 to handle AAX plugins. The original Structure would crash a lot, but this latest version is rock steady.

You dont "need" the latest version for PT10 as thats a paid upgrade so if you can't use the last version on version 1 then use the PTIEP1 you probably have and upgrade to IEP2. I can't remember the price but think its $149 and you get 7 VI in that bundle. Just upgrading Structure is not that cheap either.

Have you tried trashing preferences and databases after you unistalled Structure and then a new install after that? We used 1.1 from the DVD set of PTIEP1 on all PT10HD versions until we went HD11

At the time I bought the 1.0 boxed set, it had "aged" enough that upon registration it qualified for a free upgrade to 1.1. It is a "surrender" type upgrade and the 1.1 upgrade is still sitting in my iLOK "available category." I must have hesitated due to a PT8 HD Win7 box or a prehistoric G5 that is still running just fine.

I cannot remember why the 1.1 upgrade was necessary (maybe G5 to Intel Mac Pro or PT* to PT** ?), but the 1.0 license does have an undocumented feature:

Avid included a "Structure Free" with (I think) PT 11. A message pops up saying you can only have four instruments loaded, but with the Structure 1.0 license on the iLOK, you can keep adding instruments anyway. I loaded a full orchestral ensemble and can run Mozart's Symphony 41 with Structure Free and the active Structure 1.0 license.

Audio Deluxe just ran a special where if you bought the VST version of Expand2 for $1 you then could buy the complete expansion pack for $76. I think that version of Structure is 2.0.7, and it includes an upgrade to 2.0.1 as I recall.

Anyway, Structure 1.0 is ancient history. Time to move on. Retail was $499, but I bought mine (unopened) at Music Go Round. The original Structure CD ROM disks strung from the eaves of my hut make a great "scare crow" for pesky woodpeckers that like to build nests in my redwood siding.
