Komplete Kontrol s61 controller not playing midi in PT 12

Hi, I'm having issues with my new Komplete Kontrol s61 controller. I inserted the Komplete Kontrol plugin onto an instrument track and selected an instrument but when I play the keys I don't see any midi activity and it does not trigger the VI. The browse function on the keyboard works and when I open the standalone komplete kontrol software it receives the midi and all of the VI's play so I know it's not a problem with the controller.

On the top of the instrument track that is set to "All" by default if I go to select something else it says "Komplete Kontrol Midi Out n/a because possible feedback loop detected" and the Midi in right below that is set to Komplete Kontrol Midi in 1.

I have same problem, Does anyone has any solution?, it is really buggy after I have my OS updated to Yosemite. any solution will be appreciated.

Have you record-armed the instrument track?

What is your default MIDI thru setting?

I have the same issue:

-s61 works perfectly in Logic and standalone Komplete Kontrol software
-plug-in control works fine in PT but no MIDI signal at all for any instruments

I've tried every MIDI controller set up configuration with no luck. Any advice on setting up the s61 hardware in PT11 is greatly appreciated!

I setup my s49 last week and its fairly fresh, maybe check SETUP - MIDI - "midi input devices"

I've got the same problem, running macosx 10.10.5, Kontrol S49 in Protools 12.5...
I've learned from NI website that you have to delete the avid.coreaudio driver from the HAL folder in Library/Audio/Plugins
This gives more "buttons light up" on the Kontrol S49, but still no midi input in PT.
Midi devices input are all on...

BLAME AVID !!!!

Yes , here it is again , my #1 AVID Gripe ...,

it's all the fault of the AVID CORE audio driver that Avid have not updated in TWO YEARS ! .

NOTE; If you go ahead and remove that driver from the HAL folder - you will NOT be able receive audio from your computer for ANY other non-pro tools applications (eg; itunes or Utube etc) without workarounds that suck , or depending on you setup may not even be possible.

Sound angry .., yes i am , as i have lots of gear also that I STILL can't use just like you guys.
