OMNI direct monitoring, does it exist?

If you want zero latency, then yes, you need an analog mixer. The mixer in the Omni, whilst digital, is implemented in hardware though (it's just controlled via software in Hardward Setup). I haven't measured it but I doubt it's adding more than a handful of samples of latency.

Thanks. So the "little mixer" in the Omni does somehow go through the A to D, I guess [definitely guessing].

I "further guess" that I should probably try it sometime, and figure out how to measure what the latency is. Or, since I am exceptionally lazy about measuring latency these days :), has anyone already done it?
