An Expansion for AIR Xpand2!

Unless I've missed something, this is the first time I recall ever seeing an additional patch library just for Xpand2. It's only $9.99, so you could hardly go wrong!

Sorry to be a downer BUT those audio samples sound depressing and useless for modern pop music ... not their strong suite making "sound presets/patches" .. damn. I rather give that $10 to someone who needs it.

I don't want to shock you or anything, Christopher, but what if I told you there were other genre's of music besides modern pop?

I worded that post quite dumb TBH and what I meant was I wasn't impressed with those sound examples for anything "We" do here but I can for sure see a use for all the AIR VI and we do use Hybrid3 and Vacuum aswell sometimes. I just feel that AIR hasn't updated anything soundwise for a long time now, when we bought PTIEP1 five six years ago they sounded ok and now all that time thats passed they still sound the same. No new feeling or anything. I guess that has tainted my view of AIR in general which is not a good POW, I Know ..

Anyway thats all IMHO Of Course and I am glad others can make use of them better than we can here in our little world

PS. We do make pop-rock songs for some "rockier" artists and bands y'all heard kn the radio so we aren't just stuck on pop hehe .. we use a lot of accoustic instruments with our SSL console and only use PT for mixng, nothing else. All recorded nto our 24 track 2" tape so trying to not be tied to the same same that goes on repeat on the radio.

I did get this Hybrid 3 deal on Black Friday, with the expansions, the whole package was less than 10 bucks... Pretty great deal actually!!

Indeed, yes it is. And there are some nice patches in all those libraries, including the factory libraries. And they're all so "tweakable"!
