Default Upgrade from Pro Tools to Pro Tools HD?

I am currently on PT 10 and PT 11 and would like to upgrade to PT 11HD.
What do I need to do?

Hello!

As far as I know your two options would be:
1. Either buy an HD license on e-bay or
2. Buy HD hardware that comes bundled with HD software (HD Native or HDX)

You need to buy a HD setup...

I just traded in my 002r and purchased PT11 HD Native Thunderbolt and HD IO 8x8x8. I got a great deal on it through Robb Zenn at Alto Music, I'd strongly recommend working with him, I got great customer service, and he spent a week and a half exchanging phone calls and emails with me before I made my purchase. I'm sure I was frustrating to deal with, but he was professional and helpful at all times. He also gave me a great package deal that beat out what I was offered by Sweetwater or even my friend at GC Pro.

I second Alto Music, I spoke with Tony and he gave me a killer deal on an HD Native card and HD interface.
Highly recommend!!!
