pro tools elastic audio

I have pro tools 8 on mac osx 10.6... I click on ticks and polyphonic everything fine but when I come to group regions I lose the large dialog box and it asks me to hi-light my audio track which I've already done. If I ungroup however some of the segments of the track will work with elastic audio and some not. This is very inconsistent. Any ideas friends? Steve

what you could do is bounce the group.....I was just working with those same type of tracks.......I thought i was able to do it......Can't remember now.

But i also had a group setup but decided one word in the first verse needed to be re - enunciated........instead of ungrouping and possibly jacking my EA up along with the prior vocal comp i just bounce it....and then comp'd the new track......Easier less hassel i believe.
